Home

What does home mean to me? Home means lots of things to me. Home has many memories, love and maybe kindness. Home is joy, laughter and sadness. Home is where you live. Home is not just a place. A home can be beautiful, unbreakable, calm and a home has your loved ones. A home can be colourful, but a home needs beds. Beds are something important you need. Beds are cozy just like a cloud. Beds can last forever and ever just like a home would be. You might be thinking, is a home just a house? No, it’s not true. A home can’t be called a house, and a house can’t be called a home. A house is a building, and a home is where you live. A house has lots of walls, a ceiling, lights, windows and a door. But home is much-much bigger than a house. A home has lots of different sensible smells. But a house doesn’t have lots of sensible smells. A home makes me feel happy. But a home doesn’t make me feel happy. A home has lots of stories. But a house doesn’t have many stories. Home is where you show love, and a house isn’t where you show love. Home is where you draw peacefully. But a house isn’t where you draw peacefully. Home is where you have many siblings, and a house doesn't have many siblings. Home is where you have beautiful belongings, and a house is where you have different belongings. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for making special and beautiful homes for people who don't have homes. Love Rehmat
