The Meaning of Home

Home to me is not just a place where you sleep. Its a place where you always come back to in the end. It's a place with happiness and passion everywhere to be found. A home isn't just food, walls and a roof, a home is where you feel safe and cared for. Some people aren't as lucky as me to have a home so we should help them. A house you can buy but a home you can not. You can not buy a home because it is love and happiness. A house is a place with four walls, a roof and furniture you can buy in a store but love can't be bought. At home I can be myself in every room, closet, nook and cranny. At home I love to cook with my mom in the kitchen. Home is a place to cuddle and snuggle with family. That is what home is to me!!! Home can be anywhere. It can be at a friend's house. Home 100% doesn't have to be where you're born. It could be at your grandparents house if that's where you feel safe then yes that can be home. This is just small but I hope it helped in some small way. Ps… a BIG thank you to habitat for humanity for making this happen!
