What Home Means To Me
A house and a home are completely different. A house is plain generic and is not unique. A home is filled with love and laughter and happiness a house doesn't have that either. A home is unique and has pictures maybe of a vacation or a special event. But a house also doesn’t have that, a house is just empty with nothing inside.
However, a home can be familiar when you walk into your home you might hear your brother talking on the phone or the smell of steak sizzling on the stove. But again a house doesn’t have that. It is empty and still yet to be filled.
But to me my home is Canada, a place with four seasons but other countries don't have four seasons Like Africa has two seasons it has the wet and the dry season.
Canada is also known for its delicious maple syrup and beaver tails, but many countries don’t even know what that is. And in Canada there are also special places like the great Canadian bungee jump or the Rideau canal. But many places don't have that. And Canada also has so many other things to name so that is what makes it unique compared to other countries. And that is why I feel very lucky to live in Canada.
I love my home for many reasons, and you probably love yours too and so many people don't notice this huge difference and that is why the difference between a house and a home are completely different.
