The Difference Between a House and My Home

A house is a place to stay by yourself or with strangers that live with you, But a home is a place that I stay with my family, sister and friends. A house is a place where there is four walls and a door, But a home is a place with memories from your childhood such as wedding pictures, family events and special family heirlooms. A house is a place with casual things, But a home is a decorative place with laughter, joy and happiness. A house is a place where there's lots of yelling and arguing, But a home is a place where you can stay calm and I even have a little nook where I love to read my favorite books. A house is a place you buy to stay, But a home is a place where you stay with your family for long periods of time. A house is a place where you don’t have that many home made meals, But a home is a place where you might hear familiar noises like my sister's laughter or you might smell your favorite dinner cooked fresh by your mom. A house is a place where you might feel stressed, But a home is where you have that moment of Sighing. My family makes my home very special and I think everyone should have a home too! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for building lots of homes for our local community!!
