A Home is Not a House
A house is a building with 4 walls and a door.
When you enter a house it feels the same as outside.
A home is as cozy as the comfiest blanket on earth.
When you go inside you become yourself,
A house is the smell that can be everywhere,
Like the store that sells paint.
A home is the smell of pancakes,
on a lazy Sunday morning.
When you think of a house,
It’s just a building.
But when you think of a home,
it’s a full story of wonderful memories:
Like when it’s your birthday,
Or maybe when you finally got to sleep
after a long day,
If you have a home,
You know how it feels,
happy, cozy, safe,
and comfortable.
But a house feels,
Lonely, sad, unsafe.
And sometimes it doesn't even have feelings.
Many people,
don’t have a home,
And that's why we should help them.
With Habitat for humanity
We can help people to find homes.
