Take What You Need

In a house the food may seem awful and bland, But in a home the food will taste amazing and grand. In a house it might seem quiet and still, In a home a baby’s laugh will give some thrill. In a house love and care may seem pretty bare, But in a home you will feel and see love in the air. In a house most people are bored and sad, But in a home loved ones are happy and glad. In a house you could hear no love and no care. In a home everyone is loved and remembers to share. In a home, rooms would fill with love, take what you need. A house is just a place made up of a roof, walls and weeds. A house has no kindness, no honesty or friends But in a home we include everyone, and make amends. In a house some are mean and don’t accept, Not in a home, we always love and respect. In a home you treat other people how you want to be treated, But a house can be mean where everyone is cheated. In a home we have boundaries and always be polite, But in a house we cross the line, and hurt hard like a bite. In a home we are happy, glad and good, But at a house we are sad, enraged and in a mood. In a house people are half-hearted and hate, But in a home people have hearts and date. A house is just a structure where memories don’t stay, But a home is where we make memories every day. A house is one big empty space that you may live in, But a home is a place where love and care is given.
