What Home Means to Me
For every one, a house is probably the same. Four walls, one roof, and it’s probably made of solid materials such as stone, brick, or even ice. A house could be as big as an Olympic size swimming pool or as small as a pick-up truck, but a home is different. A home could be a comfy, cozy place. It could also be a family photo. Everyone's definition of home is probably different. So here’s mine.
For me, a home is a place where I feel safe and cozy, a place that I love. One of the places that I call home is my local pool. I go there four times a week for my swim practice. I call this place home because I spend so much time there and all the boys in my swim group are such good friends that we’re like a group of brothers. Another place that I call home is my bedroom. I’ve had the same bedroom for eight years in a row and for those eight years I’ve customized it, decorated it, cleaned it, and more.
In conclusion, the places that I call home are very special places to me and places in which I feel protected and in which I feel that I can be myself.
