Home Is An Emotion

Home may not be considered an emotion but when you think of it, it's not the place you are, it's the people you’re with. I don't need expensive things to feel happy, all I need is my mom and my dad. The feeling of warmth, through the highs and the lows my parents were there. They may not live together, and they may not feel the same about each other but I will love them through their highs and their lows. I can live on the streets or in a boat, no matter the place, I just need my mom and dad, no matter the size, no matter the colour, I will always love my home. Because home is not a place, it's an emotion, a love, the feeling inside that is home. You feel at home. As long as I am happy and with my parents or the people I love, I will love my home. I may not be happy. I may feel homesick and not around the right people. It's probably just because I miss my home, I miss my mom and dad or I just need my space. Our homes may be different and honestly no one should be ashamed of who they are or where they are living. As long as you are a human being you deserve love, you deserve life.
