Home

HOME A quiet place to sleep at night, where family cares and holds you tight. Where you feel safe to laugh and play, even on those cold hard days. Home can be a feeling or whatever else you want, a place to hide away from all the hate and taunt. When you walk into a house it's much different than a home, a place of love and warmth where you'll never feel alone. A house might have a couch, a comfy place to slouch, but a home is where you're accepted even when you're being a grouch. In a house you can sit at the table and eat, but a home is where your meal is complete. You can buy furniture from the store, but anything inside your home is worth much more. A house is built with bricks and boulders, but a home is built with love and your family at your shoulder. So next time you’re mad at someone you love, remember they are what home is made of. That is what home is to me, thank you Habitat for Humanity. Peyton L.
