A HOME IS NOT A HOUSE AND A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME

A home is not a house, a house is not a home. A house is materialistic and full of fancy things but a home is where you make memories and have fun. Everyone can describe a home in their own words because they live in one. I can describe my own home and I will now. Fun. My home is fun. It is full of laughter which makes it fun. My home is loving. My home is loving because my family loves each other even if we are in fights. My home is funny. My home is funny because my mom and dad make jokes and my brother and sister make jokes too. My happy place. My home is my happy place because whenever I'm sad, my mom makes me happy and whenever I’m mad, my brother teaches me how to relax. and whenever I’m scared my older sister teaches me how to be brave. A home is where we all live, it's where our family lives, it's where our friends live, everyone lives and most importantly it's where I live. Some people think of a house as a home but other people think of a house as a house and a home as a home. All homes are different and all houses are different too. Everyone has a home and everyone has their happy place. A house is fancy but a home is where we all live which is why I made this poem about the difference between a home and a house and habitat for humanity. EVERYONE NEEDS A HOME:D
