Bob's Home

Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was this kid. Let's call him Bob. So Bob lived with his family, just his mom and his little brother. They were not that wealthy. They lived in a home. They were all happy and joyful. Everything was going well……… But one day after coming home from school with his little brother he saw his mom packing up boxes. Bob was confused until he saw a note on the fridge that said “EVICTION NOTICE”. He knew what that meant. He had learned it in school, just 2 days ago. On the last day of school before summer, mom said "He’s not going to school." That day, Bob was pretty happy because he didn't have many friends at school. So he spent the day bus riding with his mom while his brother was at daycare, looking for new apartments. But it wasn't very successful ….. The second day they went to an office. His mom told him the place is called “Habitat for Humanity". They waited in the waiting room until a very nice lady greeted them in her office. The lady and Bob’s mom talked a lot. He saw his mom signing papers, a LOT of papers. After that, Bob and his mom left. His mom was very happy. She had a huge smile on her face. He knew something good had happened. He waited. The more he waited the fewer boxes there were in his living room. 8 months later… His mom had a surprise for him: a big, nice, new house where he saw the same lady he saw at the office standing next to him smiling. He gave her a big hug and thanked her……
