Your Home

My home is more than a roof and walls; it's a place where I feel safe and loved. A place where we celebrate loved ones, new family members and friends. Where we go to feel loved, where we feel all sorts of emotions: sad, angry, happy, excited, love and all sorts of emotions. It's the place where you go when you're not in a great headspace and where your parents make you feel like you belong, help you with your homework and do fun activities with you. It's the place where you eat, sleep, play and all kinds of stuff. A house can have a chimney, nice bathroom and comfortable beds but that stuff is not what makes a house a home, a family is. At your home you celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other celebrations. At home you eat your favourite snacks, your favourite lunches, suppers and breakfast. At your home you play with your toys like hot wheels, barbies and other types of toys. At your home you feel like you're free to talk about whatever you want and need to talk about even if it's something that will get you in trouble or something that makes you happy or that makes you sad. Your home is love.
