Home to Me
Home is a safe and comfortable place. Your home doesn't have to be your actual house. It could be anywhere. For example, home could be a hotel, a different country, a playground, anywhere. Home is somewhere you feel happy. The meaning of home is my room and I feel amazingly safe in my room. I like to close the doors and hide under my blankets. So if it is snowing or raining I feel very safe under my blankets. I also feel safe because my family is there. My room is a comfortable space to share my thoughts in a notebook or I like to draw to help me calm down if I am angry or frustrated. I really like reading under my blankets. It is very comfy. I love to relax in my room. I also like to eat in my room while I am doing crafts. Every holiday, I decorate my room with what holiday it is. It helps get my spirits up. It makes me happy! Also, I like to change the placement of my bed. For example, in the summertime I keep my bed beside my window so I can see all of the animals and flowers blooming. I can also see the CN Tower because my building is very tall. In the wintertime, I keep my bed on the other side of the wall, so I would not feel cold because in winter beside the window it is cold. Sometimes, when I am sitting in my ]room I smell my mom cooking. The smell is like a fresh breeze entering the room. Home means a happy place. To me, home means my room where I am the happiest.
