My Home

My Home is not just four walls and a roof. It is my Identity. It is where my true self blooms. It is where I have fun. Home is where my family shows me unconditional love and care. My family always shows me support whether they are far or right beside me. No matter what, they love me and care for me. At Home I feel joy and a sense of belonging and when I am sad my family always finds ways to cheer me up, whether it’s making me laugh or telling me a story. Home is where my family shares memories and stories about our ancestors and our past. Home is where I feel safe because my family is always there for each other when we go through tough times. Home is where I find relaxation and peace after a fun and hard working day. At Home we are given forgiveness when we make mistakes. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving to those in need a place that they can call “Home”.
