The Difference in House and Home

She walks down the corridor All furniture is broken and left alone. But if has lots of love you can't buy in store. The patches in her dress are sown. They always fill their house with love Even though every present she gets is little. They snuggle together next to the stove And she dances while her mom plays the fiddle. For them as long as they're together In the rain, the snow or whatever weather. As long as they can feel each others presence there That a home to them, it's clear. He walks along the empty halls. Expensive paintings on the walls. No family, no friends and no rapport. All by himself with no support. He is all alone by himself. He has read every book on the shelf. He waits for his parents to come home And hopes one day he will never be alone. His place is as quiet as a mouse. Loneliness for him has no cure. It's not a home for him, it's just a house. Yes, this is very sure. She is friends with everyone is her community. They all work togethers in unity. They all see, they all do better When they are all together. He wishes for a family, like inside the books. He walks outside the door and All he gets are disgusting looks. His heart is like paper except torn. Finally one day he makes a friend. They loved each other until the end. They had a baby, they thought she was rad. He wanted to give her the home he never had. She made a friend with a boy. They fell in love and had a child. A family full of love, not like a decoy. They had laughter and joy. The difference between a home and house Is the love a home has And the empty loneliness a house has. Everyone deserves a home.
