What Home Means to Me

Home to me is a safe place to spend time with your family. But most importantly home is a safe place for people after a long day of work or school. At home you have furniture, a stove to make food and have fresh water. Home is a shelter for storms and snowy and rainy weather. Home is a place for me in my family to watch movies and hockey games. Some of my and my family's favorite movies To watch are Christmas movies. Our home has electricity and heat for warmth and our favorite thing to do in the evenings is sit down as a family and watch a movie while being covered up and cozy. My favorite thing to do at my house aschool is get a blanket and cuddle up with my dog and play video games with my friends or my brother. To me if I didn't have a house, I would feel very uncomfortable and not safe. But in my house I feel comfortable and safe.In the winter time if I didn't have a house I would be cold and wet to the snow. In my house I'm dry and warm. I hope all homeless people get a home because they will be warm and safe, dry and comfortable in the winter.
