What Does Home Mean To Me

My kitchen table is my home. When I come home after school or from drawing class first, I take off my shoes and go to the kitchen table. At the table, I talk with my mom about my day, my friends and school. When I wake up in the morning, I always check if the table is there and eat my breakfast. When it is an important day I can see my whole family and sometimes friends come and sit at our table. I'm always eating dinner at the kitchen table. Sometimes when I'm sitting at the table I feel like I'm back in the Ukraine with my grandparents and cousin sitting at the table and celebrating New Year or someone's birthday. But now half of my family is not in Canada and that makes me sad. I really like to drink orange juice at the table. When I think about the kitchen table it reminds me of orange juice and family breakfast. Almost every time when I'm sitting at the table I can smell my mom is cooking dinner. Also, I can hear my family members talking about their day and feel content. I love my kitchen table and think that my table is my home.
