Meaning of Home to Me

A home is not a place to feel uncomfortable; it's a place to make memories and feel loved. You make memories so you can tell people, and you want to feel loved so you can be happy. A home is not a dome; it's a home for your own. You have a special place in your home, which could be your bedroom or the kitchen table where you do your homework or the couch you always lie on when you're sick, under the stairs, or the place where your dead dog used to always lay are all special places. I say my thoughts in my special spots. My home can be lonely or sad, but not always bad. A house is much different than a home; home to me means a place to be loved, safe, important, calm, and relaxed. My favorite place in my house is the living room floor where my dead dog used to lay. My living room floor is light brown but now it's a darker brown because my dog would lay there too much. When no one was around, I would always grab my phone and look at photos of my dog until I cried. That is what I personally think what “home” means to me.
