A Home is More Than a House

Habitat for Humanity can help you make memories in your own way and use your traditions for your new home. A house may have security, but a home has comfort and love that you can always go back to on days you feel down. A house provides a roof over your head but home has family and loved ones that can shelter you with love and family you can express your feelings with while not being judged. A house may have animals, but a home has loved pets that you have great memories with like cuddling them and taking them to the beach. Home is where everyone is welcome with positive thoughts and open arms. At home you can always come to play family games and eat homemade meals from your childhood. Habitat for Humanity may help you by making houses, but it is your job to make it a home in your own wonderful ways.
