Meaning of Home

A home is more than just a house. A house and home may have all the same rooms, but a home is more special. When you walk in a front doorway is where you meet new people, friends knocking on your door, family giving hugs to say goodbye. Walking into a house is like the smell of freshly baked cookies. When you walk into a home you are warmly greeted and people are excited and happy to see you. The front entryway is the foyer of the home. A living room is a place where you can relax and chill. It’s where you can watch a movie with your family or just play a game on your phone. A living room is where you live. The living room is the comfort of the home. A kitchen is a place where you eat your fantastic meals your mom makes you. It's very calm, cozy, and smells good. It is where people socialize. The kitchen is the heart of my home. A basement is a place where you, your family and friends play video games. It's a place where you can fall asleep watching the football game. It is the place where you have exciting ping pong, air hockey and basketball shooting tournaments. The basement is a place you always want to be. The basement is the excitement of the home. A bedroom is a place where you can be alone. In a bedroom is where you keep stuff like clothes, toys and prized possessions. A bedroom is a place where you can close your door and have privacy whenever you want. The bedroom is the sanctuary of the home. A home is more than just the rooms of a house. The rooms in a home mean more to the people that live there. Everybody should have more than just a house, they should have a home of their own.
