Home is where we make memories
My home is full of memories. My home keeps me safe! It is loud all the time, with chatting, screams and laughter. I make memories with my brother when we play outside and enjoy the fresh air. I make memories with my family around the bonfire. When I was little my dad would feed me ice cream all the time. I remember how yummy it was. When I was 4 a bear was going in the bush , and was very close to our house. My mom and I were outside , but we moved inside and did a video of the bear. In our home we have enough food and water, for which I am thankful. We visit with our elders in our family. My aunt and I visited with aunt Doretha and uncle Harve , who are both in their 80's ,and we did some knitting. My dad builds his own boats, which is a tradition passed down in our Nunatukavut culture . We spend a lot of time in boat on the ocean making memories. This year I am making memories with our new teacher who is from Ghana. Her and her family are making Labrador their home. My family loves me so much! Home is wherever you are happy with family and friends.
