What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home is a place where I feel loved, have fun and feel safe. Habitat for Humanity provides safe homes for families in need of a home. In Canada, everyone works hard and deserves a home to go home to after work. Living in a loving family and home means my family giving me hugs good night. Love means my mom making delicious meals to eat. Love means my dad helping me with my homework when I can't figure it out. Love means my little brother comforting and helping me when I am down or upset. Having a loving home helps me to get through hard times. I have fun playing video games with my little brother. Fun means my dad and I fishing and catching lots of fish. Fun means my mom and I baking delicious chocolate chip cookies. Fun means my family having a vacation in Florida and eventually going home to continue the fun. A roof over my head means safety. A roof over my head means a nice warm bed to sleep in. A roof over my head means a welcoming place to go if I am upset so I will be comforted. A roof over my head means warm food on the table. That is why my home is super special. I get hugs, have fun with my family and feel safe in my home because of the roof over my head. Hopefully, Habitat for Humanity could give a deserving family a great and loving home that needs it. -Brody V.
