My Meaning of Home
Once upon a time there was a guy named Joe. Joe had the best life. He lived in a really big house with a pool. One day he got super sick. He went to the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer. He had to get chemotherapy. The bills were so expensive. He had to sell his house. Plus, he had to sell all of his belongings and some were very important to him. After he was done chemotherapy he had to live in very bad houses for example he had to live in a house that was falling apart; the foundation was cracked. He moved and had to live in a really bad neighbourhood where there was a lot of robberies. Previously, he had applied for Habitat for Humanity. One day he got home and got a call. It was Habitat for Humanity and they said they were calling to say that his application had been accepted. When he got off the phone, he cried in joy he would not have to live in bad houses anymore. A month passed and Joe helped build his house. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity for helping people build houses and putting in that extra work so that hard working people can have a good life in a good home.
