The Meaning of Home
Home could be anywhere. It could be in your house, it could be in your room or in the kitchen at half past noon. But where home feels to me is in Germany. I wake up early in the morning roll of my bed onto the hard wood flooring. Then I get up and jump on my bed and sometimes I bonk my head. Then we (meaning my brother and my sister) charge int my Oma and Opa’s room like a bunch of monsters from a lagoon! We try to wake them up fast instead of slow we wake them up, but they just won’t go! Then we go to the bakery for bread with jam, oh man! We ask to go swimming, they say to get on our suit we get dressed and ask for loot! (Ther’s a vending machine) We walk to the pool, when we get in it’s very cool. We walk back home and when we get there sometimes, they go to the market and leave us alone. Germany is not the only place I feel I feel home though in a park by my house, it is where I like to go. I like to play soccer in the field, I dribble around with the ball I wield! I like to climb a tree and when I do I feel free! I love to play tag I run so hard I get a cramp in my leg. I enjoy exploring by the creek and build dam’s that sometimes burst a leak! I like to take walks with sister, when I trip onto the woodchips and sometimes I get a blister. Home could be many things but this is what home is to me.
