What Home Means to Me

What Home means to me A poem by Brynlee Klassen A house is a building with four walls and a sturdy roof but a home is much more then just a goof A house has a table and chair but a home is filled with love and care A house is filled with quite a breeze but a home holds frames with your favorite selfies A house has a door but a home is filled with the things you adore A house can be renewed but a home is filled with your favorite food A house can be my own but a home is where you’re not alone A house has a shelf but a home is where you can be yourself A house could always increase but a home is full of peace A house can be made but a home is where laughter can never fade A house can be built with stone but a home is a comfort zone A house can have many ceilings but a home is where you can talk about your feelings A house can be quite a mess but a home is where you never stress A house can have a pretty daisy but a home is where you can always be lazy A house can have space to roam but a home is where you are known A house could have a yard with trees and grass but a home has things that will forever last A house may be fancy and large but a home is a place to easily recharge A house can easily be sold but a home has things that will forever feel like gold A house could be long and wide but a home will forever be in your heart and by your side
