Meaning of Home

Home to me is a safe place because of family and the shelter it provides. Home is safe because it provides protection, comfort, and people who care about me. Home to me is also where I feel happy because I can play and spend time with friends and family. I am grateful to have my home because it has my cozy and soft bed where I can sleep well and know that I am safe from harm. At home I can truly be myself and do things that I want to do. When I feel angry, sad, or overwhelmed my family is always there to listen, comfort me, and remind me that I am never alone. I think that everyone should have a home or place where they can feel safe, be themselves, be happy and spend time with friends and family. This is what home is to me.
