The Meaning of Home

My home is a place to stay, Without it, I would be led astray. A place where memories are made, In my home they never fade. Home is my sacred place, A protecting and caring space. My home, where my family resides, When I enter, no evil abides. My home offers sanctuary from the sun's radiant light, It assures me a safe and well-slept night. When I enter I feel a sense of glee, At my home I can be me. My front hall where people emerge, A place where family and friends will often surge. The living room, a place to be, Having a blissful time with family. My kitchen, a place filled with scents so sweet, A place to cook, so everyone can eat. My bathroom, a place to stay clean, With a mirror, and where you can maintain personal hygiene. Up the stairs, where rooms are stored, In the rooms, stories untold. My bedroom, a room where many memories took place, A cozy room which I would never want to replace. My home office, a room where ideas are made, A place where time quickly fades. My basement, a place with old memories, With a lot of beautiful stories. The hallways, a place that bonds us together, Where all our differences surrender. My home is where my heart lies, It is my eternal paradise. Houses are just a stationary building, Unlike a home, immensely loving. No one deserves to be alone, Everyone needs a home.
