A House is not a Home

A house is a structure with four walls and a floor, But a home has happiness, love and a little bit more! A house might have a floor, four walls and a roof, But a home has memories where you could be a bit of a goof. A house might have rooms and stairs, But a home is where memories are made to be shared. A house may have expensive couches and chairs, But a house has lots of laughter that has its shares. A house can have a bit of pushing and shoving, But a home has lots of hugging and loving. A house may have an antique design, But a home has lots of love that can really shine. A house may have a expensive couch, But a home has love that cannot be in a pouch. A house can have lots of space to walk, But a home has a family that likes to talk. A house may have an excellent toy, But a home has lots of joy. A house may have lots of nightmares, But home has dreams that could be musical chairs. A house may be lonely, But a home your family loves you closely. A house may have a TV or an iPad, But a home you will never be sad A house sometimes you might be scared, But a home is a lot better if compared. A house might have all the amazing things, But a home has something worth way more than all that. A home has love, care, family, and feelings.
