My Home

For me, my home is more than just four walls and a ceiling. It is where warmth calls to things we believe in. It’s where laughs and jokes are shared. A place for the sick who are in need of care. In the bedroom, the bed provides. A cozy and warm place where I can hide. Finding comfort in the small light breeze, there lies a pillow that I can squeeze. Once I fall into a deep sleep, there awaits a dream where I leap. In the living room is where I relax. It has a couch for me to lay on my back. Where we watch TV is also where we share every memory. From games, laughs, and conversations, is the way that I can strengthen my relations. The kitchen is where I smell and see my mom’s cooking that is precious to me. The aroma of her food that is sweet and fresh sings to me like a serenade that can refresh. Through all the memories that I’ve created, I’m thankful for my home, my blessing awaited.
