What a Home Means To Me
Living in a home,
feel like a safety dome.
Old peoples’ houses smell not that great,
They kind of smell like a moldy date.
My parents ask me how my day was I say “It’s history,
but tomorrow is a big mystery.”
Up in my room playing on my phone,
My dad says “That’s enough screen time” in a nice tone.
Coming down the stairs ready for dinner,
Look to my left and I see my amazing brother.
He’s playing with his toys,
In the living room watching 100 girls VS boys.
My mom says dinner time,
I think the dinner table is a place to combine.
After that I play with my dog,
We get along like two bumps on a log.
In my pjs ready for bed,
My brother comes to say goodnight and he’s in all red.
Sometimes a get to have a movie night,
And other nights going to bed is a fight.
In the summer I get to stay up late,
That put me in happy state.
Outside on a summer night watching the fire glisten,
Playing games talking and just listen.
Laying on the damp grass watching the stars,
Thinking you can see planets like mars.
