Home is a Special Place

Home is my peace, where I can watch a movie with my family and laugh while winning an exhausting 3-hour game of Monopoly late at night. It smells like my Mom’s famous chocolate chip muffins all the way from the backyard. I feel sleepy as the thick chapter book drops on my chest after 2 hours of reading on my cozy bed. I hear the sizzling sound of my delicious breakfast in the air when I wake up in the morning. It tastes like me eating a hot meal that melts in my mouth made by my Mom in the evening. I see the L.E.D lights making the colourful posters in my room pop bright red and blue. Home is a place where I can relieve my stress and feel belonged by my Dad and my Mom while doing whatever I want as long as I want! Thank You Habitat for Humanity for making our neighbourhood a bigger place and giving those in need a place to live, love and learn so we can all be united! Everyone deserves a Home.
