What Home Means to Me

Home is a safe place to live in, play in, eat in, and sleep in. Everyone needs a home to live in. A home should be a warm place, and it should feel like a safe place. If your home does not feel safe, then you need to tell an adult that you trust, and the adult will help you. I always feel safe at home. I enjoy spending time in my room playing with Lego, Magna-Tiles, and action figures. When I am at home, I like to play guitar. Home is where my pets live. I have two dogs named Cocoa and Bailey that I like to snuggle with. I also have a cat named Minnie. Minnie is a sweet cat who likes to climb onto people’s beds when they are sleeping. To me pets make a house feel like home. What makes my home feel special to me is a good loving family. Sharing my favourite meals like my mom’s spaghetti or my dad’s beef pasta makes me feel at home. I like to spend time with my family to do stuff like watch a movie. I like to play Minecraft with my big sister, Cassandra and go in the hot tub with my little sister, Amber. These are the things that make my home feel like a home. The end
