Jake's thing
Jake’s Thing
You see, Jake was awesome at describing words. He had a reputation. Every day after school, classmates came to ask him for definitions. At the end of one long day, his classmate Ethan asked him the meaning of “home.” Walking back from school, he thought about what could best describe the word. He thought and thought. The next day, he came to school with no answer. His classmates were used to getting the meaning directly, but that day they did not. Everybody was shocked. “A WORD WITHOUT A MEANING,” they thought. That night at his home, Jake asked his family what it all meant. His dad said, “somewhere you live with your loved ones.” Next, his grandpa said, “a place where you live.” After he asked his grandma, she responded the same thing as his dad. A few minutes later, Jake went to take a walk, and he thought about the answers of his family. The next day, Jake was hyped to provide a definition of the “WORD WITH NO MEANING” to his class. When Ethan asked again, he said, “a home has multiple meanings, but the one I think is the best qualified for this is you can live in a closet, but if you are with your loved ones, that will be... home.”
I once heard this phrase: “Home is wherever I’m with you.”
