What Home Means to Me

My home sits on an acre of land Out back I like to shoot rubber bands. My elastic gun no longer works But my dad will make another one for fun. I also fly model planes Sometimes red ones, yellow ones, blue ones, and tons. In the shop there’s a wood burning stove and we sit by the fire and warm our toes. In the kitchen is where I get my meals and I get good feels. I play Lego in my room with my dog by my side She comforts me when I’m feeling blue. In my sisters’ room I play with her Legos that I’ve never seen before. My basement is used mostly for forts. Me and my sister sit down there and sort Our stuffies and blankets and pillows and games. We play down there for hours just us and our gang. Our gang is my cat Harrison, my dog Millie, and my sister Isla who is silly. My parents tell me it’s time to go to bed I get ready in their bathroom and I sit on their bed. We read stories that we’ve read over and over and over again and my sister tries to stay up till ten. And finally, the living room is full of plants and in there I do my happy dance.
