Home is home

Home is where my family shares jokes. Home is where me and my sister scream-sing to our favourite songs. Home is where we share meals. Where we make things and break things. It’s where I laugh and I cry. It’s where we ask questions! Like, ‘Why?’. It’s where I get hugs as big as a bear’s, and where Aunt Reba gives me the wettest kisses of all! It’s where I can be myself. Home is where I can be calm or angry. Where I can snuggle with my dogs or play with them. Home is where I can make memories. Some good, some bad but they’re all worth keeping. They’re all gems. Just like gems, memories are valuable. So keep them.
