What does home mean to me

Beneath the roof, so warm, so cool. There are people, animals, plants, and rules. Home is not only a shelter from the sun; But it is a place where anyone can have fun. Happiness, Sadness, and calmness too. Yellow, pink, green, white, and blue. Those were some colours and emotions to share, With friends, and family and all their care. Memories are built no matter where they are; Everything shines so bright just like stars. You do work, chores, but get rewards too! Nice, warm food just for you to chew. “What does home mean to me?” you ask. My loved ones are there, they don’t need any mask. Home is not only a place to sleep; For you can always move houses without a peep. Home is the people, the animals, the love; But sometimes between siblings, there is crying and shoves. But that doesn’t mean that they are bad; For they only need to improve that one, poor act. So I love each and everyone of them. And that’s what makes them special, our unbreakable gem. Everyone should have their very own special gem; But some people don’t pay attention to the ones just like them. The ones who suffer, get hurt, and feel pain; We should be the ones to help them gain. A nice, warm home which they deserve.
