What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I can go, and feel safe and filled with love from my family. My family loves me day till night. When I get home from anywhere my family gives me big warm hugs. They do a bunch of things to show their love and affection to me. That's why I feel safe in my home and with my family. Every morning when I wake up, I smell the aroma of toast and the sound of it popping, and knives scraping butter. When I go to sleep I hear water drops fall from the tap into the sink. Each night my clock goes tick tock back and forth. My clock helps me fall asleep at night. The sounds in my home are very soothing to me, possibly to another person these sounds can be annoying but to me these sounds make my home sound like home. The smells in my home are wonderful. Like how nice my dog smells, as nice as a fresh coconut off a palm tree. My moms hair spray and perfume smells really nice. Her perfume smells like a fresh vanilla scent. I love it so much it makes her smell dazzling and beautiful. My home feels like love from my family. Like a hug as safe as mom’s arms or even a warm blanket while watching a movie. My home is filled with love like hugs’ kisses good night. My home is a lovely and delightful place to be. The meaning of a home is more than a building you live in; it's a place where you create memories with the people you love the most. That's my meaning of home.
