The Meaning of Home to Me

My family is the most important thing to me. I have fourteen siblings, That's a LOT! Eleven are older and two are younger but they are home, My home. My mom makes us food and loves us. Until the end of time she makes us happy. On birthdays she gets us cake and presents. She is my home. I remember my dad taking me and two of my brothers and sisters fishing. I caught my first fish ever. Home is that feeling of happiness. My dogs Annie and Arlo are my home. We got Annie when she was four months old and we got Alro when he was five months old. Now Annie is three years old and Alro is one year old Annie had seven puppies. And they are a packaged deal with happiness. The story I want to tell the most is I was running down to the brook in my backyard and the water was frozen over. It was freezing to the point of my hands going numb. I ran back home where it was safe and warm. My mom turned on the heat, Gave me a blanket and I sat by the fireplace. It was scary and I was cold. Home is my favorite place to be. When I'm home I feel love and happiness emanating from every other direction. Home is the first place to turn to when you’re hurt, Sad or angry. Home is a garden blooming with life and that garden will always have its gate open and welcoming you when you need it most.
