Meaning of Home

Home is a place where everybody is together. A house is where everyone comes and goes. A home is where there's creativity, joy and hope. A house is where you have half of everything at a home. A house is when you hope you will be safe, but a home is when you know you will be safe. A house is a place where there is furniture and screens. A home is where there is playing with everybody. A house is a place where laughter meets feelings, but a home is where laughter meets happiness and joking. A house is where you're scared to express your feelings, but a home is where there’s no reason to be scared. A home is not a house. A home can be anywhere like a cabin, an area, a friend’s home or a farm. A home can have furniture and screens, but a home must have love all around. A house does have all that stuff but there is not that much love to go around. My home is any soccer field and my actual home that I live in because my family is there. In a home there is care and protection. There are so many people that don’t have a home in Manitoba and there are a lot more people in the in whole world. I want to make a difference in the world and in Manitoba like my grandpa does with volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.
