What Home Means to Me
Home is not just a place that you live in or a place that has a roof and walls, home is a place that you are welcome, a place where you are safe, a place where you have fun, a place that I am comfortable, home is where I am loved. Home is with my family.
For me I have had a lot of homes. I have had three homes, one in Guelph, one in Prince Edward Island and one in Vancouver so I have moved a lot but all of those houses were homes to me because of my family. It is not the stuff in the house that makes it a home, it is the people in the home with you.
It is very sad walking past homeless people. Nobody should have to go through that. Every day at school I look forward to going home and being comfortable and just imagine not having a home to go to after work or school.
This is why my home is so important to me. Everybody should have a happy, comfortable home with family.
