The Meaning of Home

What does Home mean to me, you, and anyone in this world? Well I’ll tell you what it means! A house becomes a home when it feels like it’s your own. That is why a house became my home. Everyone deserves a place to call their own. I’m sure you have one too! Your home could even be a simple unstable house to call home. A tent, a trailer, a car, an apartment, anything could be your home if you call it your home. That is what home means to me. The very true meaning of home isn't the same as a house. It’s much more different than you think! Some kids say to their parents “I wanna go to our house!”, but the true meaning of a house is just the fact that it’s a structure. Nothing more than that! A home has a much more meaningful meaning it’s not just a structure. The meaning of home is where you feel safe, loved, and much, much more! To have a house isn’t the same as to have a home. Alright, so I'm back to say more of what home means to me. To me, home means just about everything! I have a room where I can go, a living room, the back room, a basement, and much more. All those things come with a house, but one thing that makes a house a home is having people you know or are related to you in that same house! People often think a house is a home, just saying it in another way, but they're completely different. Home is way more important than a house. The one thing is, most people wouldn't have a home if they didn’t have a house. Even my home is a house just, it’s not a house to me it’s a home. Another thing that makes a house a home is when you always want to go back to your home. If your home doesn’t feel safe then it’s not home, it still means “house” so you have to change that! Your home must feel like a safe place to depend on. For example, B-day parties have to be held somewhere! Am I right, and if you don’t have enough money or your parents don’t have enough money to be able to host a B-day party somewhere then, you have to be able to rely on your home for hosting a B-day party. The meaning of your home relies on whether or not your family members are in your home with you, and if you know that your home is a fun, safe, and loving place to live! Homes always have to be to your liking, otherwise their still houses. If you don’t like the look of your home then redo it! There's always a solution when it comes to homes. For example, if you think your home looks ugly for some reason just simply redo the looks of it if that helps! That is what home means to me, and I hope everyone else feels the same way.
