A Home or a Set of Walls?

Is home just a set of walls or is it a place that provides comfort and love that radiates in the hearts of the ones you love? A house is a set of walls, but a home is the place where I can strive and give back to the ones who care so deeply within. A home to one could be a large house with multiple stories and to one could be a place to stay temporarily and move the next day. While some of us have the luxury of a stable place to stay, some others have gone astray. The ones astray are in such desperate need of not a house, but a home, where they can work to solve their sorrows in a place where they can call home. A house may provide a nice hot stove, but a home can provide a vivid environment that no house can buy. A house may have perks, but a home has a network threaded so deep no amount of force will let it free. Some have to work, some wait and some do it their way; Getting a roof and four walls that’s not a place you call home? No that’s no home, that's a house, you can have as many houses as you want but none can compare to the comfort of a home. Knowing the value of home is important to the big and the small, the ones who don’t, will never know the struggle of the ones on the roads. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for everything you do and making a positive difference!
