The Meaning of Home

Home to me is a safe, cozy and sometimes a quiet place. When I was first born I lived in a house with four or three of my cousins and I made lots of great memories in my old home. When I was two years old, I had to move because my sister was about to be born. After I moved to a bigger house, it took me a while to adjust because I wasn't really used to big houses. I missed playing with my cousins. I always think about my old home where I was happy and safe and surrounded by family. I really liked my old home that I was born in. In my new home, there are two places that really feel like home: it’s my bedroom and the bathroom. My bedroom is so cozy and feels very safe. I like to wrap myself in my white blanket like a big marshmallow. In the bathroom, I hide from my siblings and it’s a break from all their fighting. To me a home is different from a house. Home is where I can find all my belongings, stay close to my family and be well fed. Whether my home is a mansion or a smaller home, it will always mean home to me!
