The Meaning of Home

To me the meaning of home is a place where I can feel safe, comfortable, and happy. At home, it is quiet but I also hear my dog barking and my family talking. It smells like my brother's cologne and my wet dog. I like to play Roblox, Fortnite and Minecraft on my computer. I also like to play chess and Skip Bo with my family at home. I also feel at home at The Bush. The Bush is a place in a forest that my family owns. There are cabins to sleep in, a trampoline to play on, a campfire to roast marshmallows, a forest to hike in and my dog loves to run around in the forest. There is also a swing set and a zipline. When I go there it is always fun. There is a lot of nature and animals so my family and I love to put hummingbird feeders for the hummingbirds and bird feeders for other birds like blue jays. , kIt can also be emotional there though. When two of our past dogs passed away we made graves saying Bentley and Max. My grandpa also loved it there and spent a lot of time building cabins and other structures. His ashes are there. I love being near the fire and spending time with my family. And I love being there. And I remember my grandpa teaching me how to make a fire there. I have so many memories there, like for my 8th birthday my grandpa made a super big scavenger hunt there and it was so much fun. We also make spider dogs and hotdogs.
