Everyone Deserves a Home

Julie found herself crying on the tarmac at school. All she wanted to do was go home and sleep in her bed until she felt better. Frank looked around him and saw that his team was losing the soccer game by more than 50 points. All he wanted to do was go to his home and eat his dad’s famous pork roast. Chris saw that he just got into Architecture at the world's best university to study the subject. All he wanted to do was to go home and celebrate this amazing achievement with his family by having a great feast with all of their favourite foods. Sam heard somebody scream. He knew there was danger coming. He started to run and just hoped that he could get home where he was sure he could rest and be safe. Leona looked outside from the car window. She longed to be home with her family beside the cozy fireplace. Watching their favourite show together. Harold looked out from his makeshift home made of old plastic bags, cardboard and some rocks he had found a couple months ago. He was asking people to help him and save him from the cold and wet outdoors of Canada. He had nobody to look forward to seeing when he got home. He could not wish that he was indoors eating warm healthy food. He could not crawl into a warm bed where he would feel safe and could rest for the first time in so long. In fact, where he was living, out on the streets, there was nothing to look forward to other than the occasional loonie or toonie he would get from kind bypassers.
