The House and My Home

The house is made of wood It is my home, to be understood Though the house has a door to keep things out It is my home - friends and family are welcomed in, no doubt And through the house window, light shines in The warmth of my home radiates out from within The house has a roof over my head The ceiling in my home keeps me safe in my bed The house has walls covered in paint Inside my home, there are 3 kids, a cat, dad, and mom - a saint! The house has a foundation that keeps it strong My home is filled with strength for a journey steady and long The house over time will need fixing and repair People in my home will always love and care The house is set on a piece of land My home will be forever, wherever I stand
