The Meaning of Home
I think that home is more than a place you live. It’s a place to spend time with your family, to make memories and most importantly to feel good. I have two siblings, my brother who is 10 years old and my sister who is 8 years old. My siblings are very kind and loving. We get into arguments and fights sometimes but that is always a part of having siblings. In the end I have the best siblings in the world. My parents are the most hardworking people I know. My brother, my sister and I all play competitive sports so my parents drive around 24/7. My parents are both teachers so they have to drive around all week and it’s very hard for them. To me I have two homes. Now when I say that, most people will think that my parents are divorced, but that is not the case. I feel like another home for me is the hockey arena. I've played hockey for as long as I can remember. Now I’m playing hockey for a rep team and it’s all thanks to my mom and my dad. My mom played hockey for the University of Guelph and my dad knows a lot about hockey. A home is a place you feel welcomed, accepted, you feel good and loved. At the arena I’m also challenged. That to me is the meaning of home.
