The Meaning of Home

My home. It is where memories are made. Memories like my birthday. Memories like my sister's birthday. Memories of all my family members. My parents are divorced. Which means that I have two homes. Which means I have twice the amount of good memories. At my two homes, different sides of me emerge. At House 1, I’m more separate from my family and don’t willingly come upstairs to socialize. At House 2, I also have my fair share of time to myself, but I’m a whole lot more willing to socialize with my family. I’m not entirely sure why this is. I’m around my family more at House 2 than I am at the other. Maybe It’s because I have more things to do on my own at House 1 or because I like my family more at House 2. Either way, I feel that those two sides of me make up how I’m outside of my homes, and I wouldn’t change a thing about how I live at either home. All in all, I love my homes just the way they are.
