H.O.M.E.

Home is really special. For me, it’s the food, the fun, and of course my pets. When I come home my mother’s always cooking up something for dinner, whether it’s spaghetti, tacos, or even sometimes cake! When I walk into the living room, to see the most intense game of MarioKart going on between my younger brother and sister. Then when I walk down my hallway to my dog laying outside my door, and both of my cats waiting for me on my bed keeping it warm for me. Home is a very special place. Ok ok ok. Before you come to my house, just let me tell you that the giant helpings of food you’ll eat are AMAZING! Everything that is made in my kitchen or by my parents tastes and smells so good, that by dinner there’s just a little bit left cause of the “samples” we all had to keep sneaking. Overall, the giant helping of food that I get put on my table. We always know they’re going to be amazing. Whenever I come home from school, there’s usually something fun going on. Whether it’s my siblings on the Wii, fighting over what to play next, that online Monopoly is boring, or who just won the MarioKart tournament. If you were to look in my giant living room window covered with stickers, you would see at least 5 shelves filled with board games, cards, and distorted game pieces. But still, I always know that when I come home from school, that there’s gonna be something fun going on. My pets are 3 of the best things in my home. But with a 12-year-old dog who just wants to be left alone, and 2 rambunctious off the wall 2-year-old cats, it can be pretty chaotic when you’re tryin’ to get homework done. One of my cats, Kyle, if he has the slightest view of the bottom of his food bowl, he’ll bite your ankles off at 2am. The other one, Jungle, will love you to death, but it’ll be when you’re trying to sleep. Or, if she’s not doing that, it’ll be like she’s high on catnip, and go bouncing off the walls! All of them are crazy at times, but they’re still my pets. Home is really special. For me it’s just the thought of getting to come home to an awesome environment. Or, whether for you it’s the safe, cozy, inviting, relaxed, place that you call home. We all should have a place to call home.
