The Real Meaning of Home

When you walk into my home, you may see an old rocking chair with a scratch on the left side. But I see a rocking chair where my great grandmother held me in her arms as a baby. I miss her very deeply. If you walk into my home, you may see an old brown couch with orange and yellow stripes on it, but I see a time where my cat, Missy, saw tears running down my face. A place where she started comforting me and rubbing her face on my hand, purring. You may think cats lurk in the shadows, but I see an animal that gives me comfort. While you see a picture of little me, I see a little girl filled with glee. I love my mom, and I love my dad, but sometimes they do make me mad. It's ok to have your ups and downs, but make sure you still spread your love around. Make sure to love what you have, and make sure you know what you live for. You may think you need more than you actually need, but that's a mistake. Trust me, you don't want to live with greed.
